Blue Mule is a unique group of musicians working in a bluegrass context with heavy doses of jazz, rock, blues and country, playing everything from Miles Davis to Merle Haggard, Bill Monroe to Jethro Tull.. Their creative songwriting brings a fresh perspective to modern acoustic music."This Way Or That?" is the first Blue Mule CD to feature our newest member, Floydfest founder Kris Hodges, on drums and percussion. Hard-driving bluegrass meets classic rock covers, with originals running the gamut from Reggae-grass to Celtic-grass, with 30's Swing and our first ever hiphpp-grass number "Etiquette", with guest rapper Byron Mack on vocals.
