Biography

Well it is pretty simple born and raised in a small upstate S.C. town. Did the 9 to 5 thing until a freak injury made regular jobs not possible. That is when I decided to chase my life long dream of writing/performing music. So far things are going well thanks to the support of old as well as new friends.

BLUE IYED SOUL is not just a name but a philsophy and state of mind. All music has blues songs, and happy songs, from bluegrass to old school 50's & 60's soul. No group of people are immuned from having the blues at some time in life or being happy in life. They just use different genres. The goal when I started BLUE IYED SOUL was to write and record a CD that wasn't bound by the major lable pigeon hole restrictions. I wanted to write what I felt without anyone telling me what formula it had to fit. Now 2 years and lots of work later the CD is complete and is true to the vision I started with. The songs in the player are the final CD mixes & should give you an idea of what the CD was meant to say.
