Three girls in a second story window
Flirting down to me and my best friend
It’s guaranteed to happen
When you’re walking in Manhattan
There’s always one too many girls
Or two too many men

Three girls in a second story window
One more than it takes to make two pair
We’ll leave it up to them to choose
With these odds we can’t lose
One for me
One for him
And one to spare

Three girls in a second story window
Teasin’ us, so pleased with what they’ve got
Me and him talk like were tough an’
Start to act like they ain’t nuthin’
‘Cause sometimes you’ve gotta bluff ‘em
Just to sweeten up the pot

Three girls in a second story window
Tellin’ us to wait they’ll be right there
You pick your cards up off the felt
And play the hand you’re dealt
One for me
One for him
And one to share

I’ve seldom had luck with the ladies
Though lately I’ve begun to knock ‘em dead
In the past if Lady Luck
Smiled at me from two floors up
It always went right over my head

Three girls in a second story window
I can see ‘em comin’ down the stairs
All dolled up to go dancin’
Maybe some late night romancin’
Or as it looks perchance
A game of musical chairs

But three girls in a second story window
Had other plans than what we had in mind
They hailed a cab and soon were gone
Shoulda known it all along
Three queens will beat two aces every time
Three queens will beat two aces every time

Well after I wrote this song I felt that maybe the ending
Wasn’t the kind of ending that I might have hoped for.
So being the songwriter I thought I would change the ending.
Come up with a new one.
One my masseuse likes to call a “happy ending”
I’d like to play it for you now

But three girls in a second story window
Said the words that made the gum fall from our mouths
What would you two boys think
About a ménage a cinq?

Three Queens
Two Kings
A Full House
