It is okay to be different
When one hears the words "Country Music" in Denmark, one thinks mostly about mature men and women with a taste for line dancing and fringe jackets. It is certainly not the image of a young Danish girl and her father on stage together
Bibbi's father Snif has had his 40-year anniversary as a musician and together with his wife Jytte Jacobsen they are celebrating their 25 year anniversary as co-organizers of the world famous "SCC Country Festival" in Silkeborg, Denmark. Bibbi has grown up with country music in her ears and with her parents as musical sparring partners. It felt, therefore, quite natural, as father and daughter ten years ago found themselves on stage together for the first time, and subsequently have been together on many concerts stages since then. Although it has not always been easy for Bibbi to play with her father or her father with her especially in teenage years, it has made the family closer on stage and at home.
