Bibb City Ramblers were formed in 2007 when Columbus, GA native guitarist/singer/songwriter Dan Davidson met mando killer Brian Fowler. Brian grew up playing bluegrass in Kentucky had gained experience playing with Harvey Bainbridge (Hawkwind) and Skip Spence (Jefferson Airplane, Moby Grape). Dan met singer/songwriter and talented bass player Gini Woolfolk and soon the band had a new bassist and he had a new wife. Enter into the picture Wildman Steve, a washboard player that's played with Vassar Clements, moe., Leftover Salmon, North Mississippi Allstars, String Cheese Incident, and many more, and has his own internationally-famous internet radio station, and the permanent lineup of the Bibb City Ramblers was solidified. Taking their name from a village that became part of Columbus, the band set forth to bring their unique brand of bluegrass, blues, country, and jugband music to the world. Their sixth album, titled "Mountain Air" will hit stores on April 10, 2012.
