Above the city streets,
in letters ten feet high,
a sign for all to read,
Men Don’t Cry.

The soldier standing guard,
the little boy at play,
the young man learning love’s ways,
got to hide it away.

No words can express,
the sorrow that I feel,
let it come, let it rain,
tears that heal.
