Geelong Cats get a new full forward – Barry Crocker with the relaunch of “Come On The Cats”

“Come on the Cats” is the song that Barry Crocker made famous in 1982. Barry Crocker was born in Geelong and has worked with some of the worlds most influential and household names in the entertainment industry today. The song was written, sung, arranged and recorded by Barry and was commissioned by the teams then-coach Billy Goggin.

Now almost 30 years later “Come on the Cats” has been digitally re-mastered and was re-released on Monday 17th August 2009 in light of the Cat’s 150th Birthday Celebration.

Barry Crocker is a true living legend in entertainment industry. He was recognised and awarded an ‘Order of Australia’ in 1987 for his services to the Australian Entertainment Industry and to charity. His career spans seven decades as a singer, comic, impressionist and dramatic actor shine through all his performances captivating audiences throughout the globe.

Barry and the Blue Pie Team are very proud to be part of the 150th year commemorative celebrations for the Cats. COME ON THE CATS!!

ABOUT THE DONATION TO CHARITY
50% of all proceeds will be donated to the Geelong football clubs charity, The Starlight Foundation. Blue Pie’s digital reporting and accounting system ( see http://reports.bluepie.com.au ) will manage compliance and reporting of all donations.
