All alone in my bed alone in my head, only me
Such sorrow & pain He’s taken the best from me
Went to bed heavy hearted unsure, all alone, only me

My heart was so broken Big dreams just a big fantasy
Half dazed I woke up he was there in the midst of my dream
Dad stared at my face He smiled & said he was pleased
Kissed my cheek & this mist gently tingled & danced on my face
Warmed my heart from the depths of my soul hit my toes at fast pace

As I fell back to sleep my heart was so heavy again
Dad arrived just in time he stood by my side once again
The look in his eye said to me all is well trust in Him
