Black and White
BLACK AND WHITE

Walking through the city
I see all the people passing by me
Each one looks so different
Is this an illusion that I see
All the faces like the colors in a painting
So much beauty
If we could all see it that way
Imagine what it’d mean

Black and white, just a game
Day or night, we’re all the same
Thank God for Black and white
You make me see
Opposite is a lot like me

I stand on the corner
And watch all the children play together
They don’t seem to notice
Don’t see the distinctions we would see
What’s the difference, it’s a circular creation
Like a rainbow, brothers and sisters living in peace
Would make a lovely scene

Black and white, just a game
Day or night, we’re all the same
Thank God for Black and white
You make me see
Opposite is a lot like me

All the faces like the colors in a painting
So much beauty if we could all see it that way
Imagine what it’d mean
