Biography
Doug Flowers is a veteran bluegrass musician, having worked as a teenager in the 70's with Betty Fisher. After college, he worked with his own band, Avalanche. He also worked with the late Al Osteen. Doug was also an original member of both The Little Roy & Lizzy Show and Clinton Gregory.

Doug has always loved the traditional and contemporary sounds of bluegrass music, and his new project includes some of both. There are 14 songs on the project and 7 of the songs are original tunes. Songwriting greats Gerald Smith and Lisa Shaffer lend their talents in writing with Doug on this project as does Jim Iler. Doug adds, "I'm truly blessed to work with such gifted, dedicated musicians."

"Been knowing Doug for the better part of 30 years as a musician, singer, songwriter, band leader, promoter, and friend.
I'm glad to see him doing his own project and happy to have been asked to be a part of it. Doug really knocked it out of the park with great performances by himself and all involved with material old and new, great picking, and beautiful singing with angelic harmonies.
If you like bluegrass and traditional country music, you are going to love this recording."
Scott Vestal
