1. In a dream oh so sweet,
I dreamed of heaven
Them jasper walls
Lined them golden streets,
That crystal river was flowing
Up and down as my Father
Put on me my robe and crown.

A brand new song

Singing in one accord
It was a sound that
I'd not heard before
In my dream I'd live
There forever more.

2. When I got up there and
I stood at the eastern gate
St. Peter asked me child
Where would you'd like to go
I said to Jesus because I love him so.
And in my dream I could hardly wait.

3. When I a woke,
I just lay there in disbelief
My emotions started taking
Over me Then I said Lord,
I'm so glad I'm born again
As the tears rolled down my chin.
