When Scruggs Made Me a Star – 2012 saw the passing of many musical heroes from bluegrass not the least of which was Earl Scruggs. Shannon’s songwriting buddy, Dale Felts, pitched him this line and story about writing a song from the perspective of a banjo. We went with it and included a bit of a historical journey of the instrument as well. Casey reprises several Scruggs instrumentals here…. and there are a few “spacial” guests.. hahaha.
