Biography

A born rock singer, Emina grew up listening to Judas Priest, Deep Purple and Iron Maiden that form her musical influences today. This set her apart from her contemporaries as did her singing talent, that emerged at an early age. She soon left home and started her career as a full time singer, got signed by a major at the age of twenty, played hundreds of gigs and
released several singles and a pop rock album. After five years when her contract timed out
she signed with the independent SixtySix Records. Currently Emina is in Europe. Her new album Take #1 has been released digitally in Dec 2011, the physical release is scheduled for March 2012. The four track EP -- I'm Leaving -- was prereleased in May 2011, showing off Emina's talents in both heavy rock and softer ballads. Between recording she is touring with her brand new band called Emina like her. From the very beginning there was magic between the four musicians who all have carrers of long time standing to their credits. The band have been called a monster when unleashed live on stage many a time, pure energy.

Emina ist Profisängerin seit mehr als sechs Jahren und hat mit verschiedenen Bands und Besetzungen zwölf Jahre Bühnenerfahrung gesammelt. 2005 unterschrieb sie bei einem Major Label und brachte mehrere Singles, Videos und ein Poprock Album heraus.
Seit September 2010 ist Emina bei dem Independent Label SixtySix Records und hat ihr neues Album Take #1 im Dezember 2011 digital veröffentlicht, der physische Release ist für März 2012 angesetzt.
Die Singleauskopplung -- I´m Leaving -- ist seit Mai 2011 erhältlich und zeigt Eminas Talent sowohl in soften Powerballaden als auch in Rocksongs der härteren Gangart.
Emina tourt mit einer vierköpfigen Band, Maria ist Profi-Drummerin, Andy war Studiobassist für u.a. Sony BMG und Stefan ist seit Jahren als Gitarrist semiprofessionell engagiert.
Die Single hat weltweit sehr viel positive Resonanz gefunden, wie man auch an den zahlreichen Rezensionen erkennen kann.
