Renegade

My spirit is that of a renegade – I admit, I’m contrary by nature, because I tend to question everything. I agree with something Clint Eastwood said, “ There’s a rebel lying deep in my soul. Anytime anyone says, “the trend is such-and-such, I go the opposite direction. I have a reverence for individuality.” But pursuing being a renegade for its own sake is also a trap. The only way out is to rebel against being a renegade. You have to stop changing your image of yourself. The ultimate renegade is free from all of that. That is surrender to God.
