Aurora
The single release Aurora was written by Australian artist Marisa Yeaman, especially to accompany an Art exhibition at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
It was penned to accompany the painting 'Lake Keitele' by Finnish painter Akseli Gallen-Kallela for the Exhibition'Dreams of Nature' Symbolism from Van Gogh to Kandinsky.
Marisa recorded 'Aurora' at Wild Verband Studio in the Netherlands, which is owned by respected Dutch guitarist BJ Baartmans. BJ also joined in paying some beautiful guitar work to compliment the song.
Like a creative osmosis evolving from paint, to words to sound, Aurora speaks of the inner quest of art and the inspiration found in nature by so many artists. This classic recording 'Aurora' captures the organic magic of two creative minds coming together, the result of real artists speaking through real instruments. Now available as a single via itunes and Bandcamp.com.
