Biography
Lil Aaron Mosby passed November, 2007 and was member of the Quinn's Family of Recording Artist's since May, 1999. Born Aaron Mosby April 15th,1932 in Pinebluff,Arkansas, Lil Aaron made his way to East St. Louis,Illinois at the age of twenty-one years old.That was the beginning of long career in the Blues Business that spanned over four plus decades. His career started with than legendary SonnyBoy Williamson as a Bass player, LiL Aaron played bass by ear all the way up to his death in 2007. Later,LiL Aaron played bass for Chuck Berry for nearly thirteen years before leaving and joining the Albert BluesBoy Kings band where he stayed on for another thirteen years developing his playing and vocal style, that made him a very popular and always in demand artist. Quinn recorded LiL Aaron Remembers, The Last Employee in April,2000 to commemorate LiL Aaron 45+ years in the Blues business. LiL Aaron an avid bassist and singer/songwriter olay the sideman role in the blues business with the likes of,Chuck Berry,Albert "Bluesboy"King,"Howling Wolf,"B.B. King,"Sonny Boy Williamson. He later became the owner and Bandleader for his band in the early 1960's, and played all of the Top-named clubs in St. Louis and East St. Louis,Illinois namely the Club Manhattan and "Frank's Tavern a late-night dance club. LiL Aaron's singing stlye and powerful vocals,an much needed attribute for those lod Club Acts of the day, being able to sing over loud and rawdy club crowds.loud playing musicians who very seldom budged if and when a brawl breaks out in the Club, that's the World of LiL Aaron and his former peers. In 1962, LiL Aaron recorded his first record titled,Going To East St. Louis," that became a big hit and gave LiL Aaron the name"BluesMan,in the business. The Album comemorates the songs that played as a Sideman with the Blues Legends of the time.
