Biography

Art Miron has been playing guitar and singing for over 40 years and finally decided to put this CD together to present some of the songs he most enjoys singing. Working with noted producer Daoud Shaw (the former drummer for Van Morrison, Etta James and others), they’ve created wonderful versions of 17 covers. Going from country and alt country to singer-songwriter and folky pop tunes, and with backup support from many fine musicians and vocalists, this CD offers the listener exciting new takes on these great tunes. Art also added one short original instrumental tune.

The CD name ‘Collectables’ presents an opportunity for Art to appreciate and celebrate his two great passions---collecting antique American glass bottles and ‘collecting’ and presenting great songs.
