I’m wound too tight
I can’t help it none
Takes a whole lot of work
for me to have any fun
There is nothing no one can do

I make a whole lotta money

I never see it, it just all goes away
Buying stuff I’ll never use

And it looks real nice

Well I called on that preacher
To see if he could help me some
Cause I heard him on the TV
Say there is peace for everyone
I ask him to pray for me
And make me all right
He said for a couple hundred bucks
He could make me less uptight.
