I hope you know I love you.
I hope that you know that your love
means more than everything to me.
Some days I may not tell you,
Some nights I may not hold you close
when you drift off to sleep.

And so I’ve penned this letter.
But I hope that it’s a note 
that you will never need to read.

When I go to heaven
you’ll find this note locked in a box,
so I’m giving you the key.
