Simon Says

I went to a party with a couple of friends
Looking for some trouble and a few good men
Said, “Red rover, red rover, let that boy come over.”
And I danced the night away in his arms

Before I knew it the night came to an end
He smiled and he asked, “Can I see you again?”
We played hop scotch all the way to the door
And I said, “Baby, please, just one game more.”

Simon said to hug me and Simon said to love me
And Simon said to stay here with me all day
And if you want to leave that’s not okay
Cause Simon didn’t say

We play Chinese checkers, Twister, and Jacks
Monopoly when it’s time to relax
When he says, “Let’s play doctor!”
I dance the night away in his arms

Patty cake, patty cake, baker’s man
He warms me up just as fast as he can

Cause he loves all the little games we play

Simon said to hug me and Simon said to love me
