Biography
Angie LaSpina grew up in show business, her father being a veteran Las Vegas entertainer, who then became a popular radio and TV talk host. As a child, Angie would meet many of the celebrities her dad interviewed, including such legendary singers as Dionne Warwick, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee and Nancy Wilson.
Angie gained confidence in her own performing abilities when, as a 9 year old, she was selected from a national casting call to be a regular on the "Story Genie" television series.
Over the years, Angie became not only a trained singer and dancer, but also an accomplished musician, playing piano, guitar and drums.
As a teenager, she wowed audiences in the stage show, "Remembering Karen Carpenter", astoundingly capturing the essence of the original artist. Since graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Arts Academy, her latest starring turn has been the cabaret tour de force, "Angie LaSpina sings Cole Porter", in collaboration with Vincent Falcone, who, for many years, conducted for Frank Sinatra.
Perhaps the most remarkable thing about this amazing talented vocalist is her ability to sing virtually any genre with absolute authenticity. As evidenced by her new single, "Why Not Us?” featuring Aloe Joel & Lady Paige background arrangement
