Of Thee I Never Weary
Of Thee I Never Weary (©A. Calhoun, 2013)

When Autumn colors cheery
Sends leaves in spiral free
Of thee I never weary
Who stands beneath the tree

In winter’s prison dreary
When earth is hard to see
Of thee I never weary
Who lay the ground to me

When Spring comes blinkin’ bleary
And waters swell to flee
Of thee I never weary
Who flow in time to me

When summer’s grapes fall teary
To the queen that rules the free
Of thee I never weary
Who make a fool of me

And in the battle eerie
When youth is bound to flee
Of thee I never weary
Who bear the truth to me
