I Don't Want To Work For The Audio King No More
I DON'T WANT TO WORK FOR THE AUDIO KING NO MORE

The Boss Man, he make a couple million dollars a year.

He says I make too much money he’ll have to cut my pay he fears.

There isn’t much left to whittle away,

I don’t make much though I work all day,

No I don’t want to work for the Audio King no more.

I try to be a good man, I try to raise a family.

I work so many hours, them I rarely get to see.

Still de boss man says I should work much more,

Guess I’ll buy a cot, sleep on de floor.

No I don’t want to work for the Audio King no more.

Bridge: I don’t want to work like a slave for the master no more. NO!

I don’t want to live my life from chore to chore, any more!

Instrumental

The time has come to be up and on my way.

Where I’m headed for, you know I really cannot say.

Still I know there’s a God who will guide me where

There are people to love and work to share and

I won’t have to work for the Audio King no more.

Bridge: I don’t want to work like a slave for the master no more. NO!

I don’t want to live my life from chore to chore, anymore!

I don’t want to work for the Audio King no more.

I don’t want to work for the Audio King no more.

I want to stay at home, I want to do my own thing,

I want to go out on de road, I want to play and sing,

And I don’t want to work for the Audio King no more.

No I’m not going to work for the Audio King no more.

No I’m not going to work for the Audio King, King, King no more.
