Are You Running?
ARE YOU RUNNING?

Are you running through the tall grass,

are you chasing with the boys?

Bet there’s lots of dogs to play with, in fields of squeaky-toys.

The boys and girls who wanted pets have finally got their way,

Bet they feed you all the treats you want,

and play your favorite games.

Well, I’m sure your bed is softer there, the food out of this world,

And the sun is always shining and the smells there so superb.

I wonder if you’re missing me, as much as I’ve missed you,

But, perhaps you’re right beside me - and I haven’t got a clue.

The day you crossed the “rainbow bridge”,

our hearts were sinking low,

Though we knew the time was right for you, so hard to let you go.

When I cross the bridge myself someday,

there will be my furry friend,

Who’ll be waiting there, without a care, together once again.

Tails are wagging there, up in the air, together once again!
