Singing High
SINGING HIGH
Singing high in that tree, Robin please sing with me.
‘Cause this lonely voice is tired and singing low.
And this broken heart is empty just like home.
Leaves of green sky of blue, my true love wasn’t true.
And it’s dawned on me I’ve just been wasting time.
Robin can’t you see there’s no one as lonely as I’m.
I’m used to singing; singing in twos.
That’s why I’m singing with you oo oo oo oooo.
Salty tear in my eye wash me clean help me try
To breathe this springtime breeze into my soul,
And help this empty heart feel whole.
To breathe this springtime breeze into my soul,
And help this broken heart go home.
Singing high in that tree, Robin please sing with me.
