Liostáil mé le Sáirsint (Song)

This song tells the story of a man leaving Co. Mayo to join the army but reminiscing of his homeplace. The version here, Mairéad heard from an archival collection of the great Donegal singer, Róise Rua Nic Grianna, and she completed it with other verses found in literary collections of Donegal traditional songs.
