Ours
I'm gonna clear away the dust that's settled, dry my eyes and pour a cup of coffee
And as I go through all our photographs I find the strength to put the past behind me

I walk through these empty rooms and wonder where we went wrong, once upon a time we had it all, but now it's long gone

I'm packing boxes of memories, and with each one I feel more free
I'll sift through the wreckage and I'll nurse my battle scars
As I close the door for the last time on the house that was ours

And I remember all the arguing our voices, they echo through the hallway
And I can see you on your hands and knees your begging, though you know it's already too late

One by one, I will pick up all the pieces, and time will heal this shattered heart and it will mend these broken dreams, and I'll be strong though on the inside I am crying, but so long to what we shared, I bet you thought I'd never leave, no

I'm packing boxes of memories, and with each one I feel more free
I'll sift through the wreckage and I'll nurse my battle scars
As I close the door for the last time on the house that was ours
I'll sift through the wreckage and I'll nurse my battle scars
As I close the door for the last time on the house that was ours
