Straight, No Chaser

Thelonious Monk is one of my biggest heroes, along with many other black jazz musicians like Charlie Parker and John Coltrane. I grew up in the jazz world and have now found myself in acoustic music/bluegrass. Trying to get these two worlds to exist in the same space makes me tick. They're more similar than they are different.
