Jenny's Desire
When my daughter Rachel was young, I read to her from a book of Mother Goose nursery rhymes illustrated by Richard Scarry. One verse had the line "Jack took up his fiddle, by Jenny's desire/ And struck up a bit of a jig." I wondered what tune might fit with that line. Billy creates a wonderful part, sometimes in unison, sometimes in harmony, as Dom dances a jig all around with the bass. Although not exactly a jig, this is my version of what Mother Goose hand in mind. - A. Munde
