For many years I have been in love with 'Soukous' music and have always wanted to write and record a piece in Africa.
Happy Soukous Summertime was recorded in Nigeria and features top soukous guitar player 'bammypro' who also produced the track.'Soukous dance music' is a type of music derived from the Congalese rumba in the 1960's and 1970's and is known for it's fast dance rythms and intricate guitar improvisations.
