Start To Explode
Show me where it says we can’t begin,
to start to make the fracture whole
To stem the rank calcification of the soul.

Feeling safer in my second skin,
found a new way to evolve.
I might not be quite running yet, but I’m starting to crawl.

I could learn a thing or two if I could sit, still enough to hear the words.
I think you’ve noticed I can get caught up in it,
But there’s a hunger going round, or so I’ve heard.

The rising bubbles might not have reached you yet,
a sign of oxygen below.
Or maybe something else you can’t forget, ‘til they start to explode.
