Where The Time Goes
It hangs over my head
Shutters run through the ground
Better not take a breath
Every moment is stretched out
and there's no rhyme or reason
So I'm holding my breath
Waiting for it to crash down
And that is where the time goes
Can hardly tell which way the wind blows
My face is pressed against the window
You know it's hard to keep your eyes closed
So I'm diving head first
Crashing into the sun
I'm caressed by the fireworks
My own version of Heaven
A breath is blown away from
all that delicate flesh
That is longing to hold up
