A'Court was raised playing guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and piano with his mother, Ruth Bason, in North Carolina, and was influenced by several other creatively talented family members. Moving to Floyd County, VA when he was twelve, A’Court also gained much knowledge and inspiration from his natural surroundings and community that fed his unique artistic angle. Building instruments and playing music for many years, he ran an 8-track studio in the 80’s and 90’s while helping raise his family at Travianna Farm (Across the Way) in Check, VA.

Youthful Folly was Originally produced and recorded by A'Court Bason at Bohemian Sound Studio, Check, VA in 1986.
Originally digitally mastered by Billy Miller.
