Whitney was born into a ranching family. She attended her first round-up at the ripe old age of three weeks and has worked at her Mother and Daddy’s side working and branding cattle ever since. Her Daddy says she puts the best brand on a calf that he has ever seen and insist that she is the one who brands at cattle workings.

Whitney has always said other than working cattle that her job was her school work and her passion was singing and entertaining. She has always taken school very seriously and excelled in not only her grades, but her extra curricular activities in school. Whitney is a very driven individual and works hard for everything she gets.

Her love for music started back when she was an infant. She would hum the entire time she was being fed. When she was three she got an organ from Santa and her Mom recorded her banging on the keys and singing her little heart out. She composed her first song when she was 7. She called the song: “I’ve Got The Blue Bonnet Blues”. Whitney volunteered to be the singing entertainment for the coronation when she attended Baird. She also sang solo when she attended Clyde High School for the “Pops” concert, also singing for family gatherings and weddings.

Whitney has always expressed her love, dreams, thoughts and sadness through her writing. Her deepest thoughts are written in the form of poetry and then tucked away.

Whitney spends her time practicing her songs, studying, and playing with “Sparkle”, her puppy.

A typical day consist of going to school, having lunch with her grandparents, whom she is extremely attentive to, singing in her car, and playing her guitar. Neither one of her grandparents drive so Whitney checks on them daily and takes them to whatever errands they need to run. She also mows their lawn and does whatever chore that they are unable to do for themselves. Most importantly, she hits their door with a huge smile on her face and completely brightens their day. They love her as much as she loves them.

If you could sum it up, Whitney's most admirable traits would be that she is very honest, she is a driven person that works hard to prefect what ever it is that she is involved in, passionate about music, adds glitter to everyday things, and lives to sing. She is extremely kind to the elderly and to the not so fortunate she encounters. Whitney has never been one to follow the crowd, she is extremely the opposite and beats to her own drum, believing in being a leader. She is a very elegant young lady or she can put on her chaps, blue jeans, boots, spurs, old cowgirl hat, and climb on her horse, round up cattle and burn brands with the the guys. Another words, she is a little versatile.

Whitney’s dream is to become a famous country singer and inspire everyone through her words. She has dreamt of being on stage and seeing the crowd wave their hands to her music. She has always loved the country and she loves to sing; this what is in her heart and soul. With her, before there were words spoken, there were songs being sung. She didn’t “speak” her first words… she sung them. If this is God’s plan for her she is quite confident that her dream will somehow come true. She always dreamed of going to Nashville - and it came true. She once said, “Mama, I’m gonna shoot for the moon, and even if I miss, I’ll still land in the stars.”
