WENDY CROWE DEBUT RELEASE
Anteflow Records, Inc. is proud to release Wendy Crowe’s debut album, “The Way I Am”. 
 
Honeysuckle and molasses, everything southern in a pint sized package.  That’s Knoxville, Tennessee based vocalist Wendy Crowe, who has been making waves across the country with her blend of country and bluegrass, creating a sound that is uniquely her own.  Her  musical journey started in her hometown church in  Lexington, Mississippi.  As a Singer/Songwriter and polished entertainer, Wendy brings the Delta to the Doghouse as the sound of her voice joins the musical influences of Mississippi and Tennessee.  She credits her love of traditional country and bluegrass music with creating the recipe of the sweet songs she writes. 
 
“The Way I Am” is a perfect blend of  Wendy’s Mississippi roots and her love of bluegrass and East Tennessee.  Her  original, “Muddy River”, resonates with listeners of all walks of life who have memories of simpler times that are now out of reach.  This album will appeal to country and bluegrass listeners, and Americana listeners as well.  The album features, “Meridian”, a song about never changing love, written by New York songwriter Nell Bryden, featuring country music icon, Mike Johnson on steel guitar.  “Missing You”, written by Jim Hallengren, is a haunting true story about a love cut too short.  Merle Haggard’s hit, “The Way I Am” is the title track because it’s the beginning of a journey through sounds old and new, that leave the listener satisfied, yet wanting more. 
 
Wendy’s CD, “The Way I Am” will be released to radio everywhere on February 14, 2013.
