I met Annie and Pat in Santa Cruz, CA while I was playing with the Flap Jaw fellows in 1974.

Annie and Pat were members of a group called Fly By Night. Both bands were good friends. I loved the sound of Annie's voice and she had a gift for song writing. In fact I recorded her song Rocks Beneath The Water on my first (2008) solo album View From Lafler Canyon.

If Marty Robbins had heard this song, I believe he would have recorded it.

Enjoy this visit to the Arizona dessert.

Oh, and listen for Annie's angelic voice as she sings the second verse, then we get to sing together!
