Lynn Goldsmith and The Jeter Mountain Band is a western North Carolina based band. We play a variety of genres specializing in an acoustic blues/ country/ rock/bluegrass mix. Bluegrass Gospel is a regular part of our repertoire. Our band name, Jeter Mountain, comes from a song Lynn wrote about one of her favorite places on earth - Jeter Mountain, a mountain range between Henderson and Transylvania counties. It is the title track of our first band CD release. The band plays many of Lynn's original tunes selected from five solo CD projects, along with a large variety of cover tunes from many genres of music. From high energy acoustic blues/rock to sweet country/bluegrass ballads to heart-felt gospel this group shares the soul of all things Carolina.
