Loving You
All of my life I’ve spent loving you. Now that you’re gone I don’t know what to do.
Since you’ve been gone my life is such a wreck. My daily companion is constant loneliness
I always thought that you were happy dear. Whne I came home from work you were always here
One day I came home and you were really gone. The whole house was empty and I was all alone.

Ii called and I called but you could not be found, I went to the neighbors but you were not around.
No one had heard a single word from you. Then a not on my pi;;ow said: sweetheart ; we’re through.

The note said I’m so tired of being alone. I’m going back to my parents’ home.
I’m leaving you this time I’m setting you free. Cause; you love that old truck much more than me.
For weeks at a time you’re out there on the road. While I’m here at home and I’m always alone.
I’m tired of this waiting for you to come home. I’ve found someone else I’m no longer alone.

Ii called and I called but you could not be found, I went to the neighbors but you were not around.
No one had heard a single word from you. Then a not on my pi;;ow said: sweetheart ; we’re through.

I finisher the note then I bowed my head and cried. God only knows how I hurt inside.
The bills have to be paid’ I have to make a buck. The only thing I know is driving this old truck.
I hope someday to find a love that will understand what it takes to be a truck driving man.
The reason that he’s out there on the road alone is because of the love that he has at home..

Ii called and I called but you could not be found, I went to the neighbors but you were not around.
No one had heard a single word from you. Then a not on my pillow said; sweetheart! we’re through.
