Biography

Formed of lead singer and guitarist Marc-André Noël, lead guitarist Marc-Antoine Sauvé, keyboard player Jean-François Bernard, bassman Benoît Dalpé and drummer Éric Cournoyer, Vecteur K takes place on the musical scene since 2003. Marc-André, Éric and Benoît are in the adventure since the beginning, while Marc-Antoine joined in 2007, followed by Jean-François in 2008. With explosive compositions and imaging lyrics, they established their own style, without any barrier or limits, between rock and progressive types of music. Since its formation, Vecteur K made good figure in a number of contests and gave an important number of concerts in the Montréal region. Some might remember they received an outstanding and warm welcome in front of about 9000 spectators, at the Bell Center, as the opening band for The Musical Box in december 2006. Since that show, in addition to the many concerts they gave, they prepared the songs that would figure on their very first official album.
