Love at the Five and Dime

This is my favorite kind of song. I like story songs. It's like a little movie that goes by in your mind.
I also like songs about love that has stood the test of time. This is one of those songs.

I would spend endless hours listening to Nanci Griffith when I was growing up, and still listen today. Very few times have I sat down with my guitar and not sang this song.
Nanci Griffith was a great songwriter and magical performer.
Nanci left this world in August of 2021. She left us timeless music. She will be missed. Her songs will live.
