Unfinished Bridges
Mark “Brink” Brinkman & Eric Gnezda
Our roads to nowhere just weave and wind
Searching for treasure we may not find
Broken windows we can’t see through
unfinished bridges between me and you
Maybe the river was just too wide
Maybe the mountain was too high to climb
May be the ocean was just too rough
Maybe our hearts gave up on us
We vowed for better guess not the worst
We sang the chorus forgot the verse
Pain and heartache tore down our trust
Unfinished bridges just turned to rust
Maybe our teardrops can heal our scars
Maybe forgiveness can mend our hearts
Maybe we’ll find the love we’ve lost
But maybe some bridges just can’t be crossed
