Divining Utopia
I dream of empty warplanes flying overhead
Gone to bring our sons and daughters to their Mama’s arms again
I dream of family farms growing like weeds
And the soul of our soil is filled with heirloom seeds
Every neighborhood we see, gardens growing in the city
Food that we eat comes from right down the street
Every shop that you see is owned locally and
And the Goods that they sell are from people treated well
Crops of cattails cleanse the rivers and the streams
Sugar, Sun and Wind power everything

I believe, I believe
I believe there’s a better way for you and I to be together in this life
I believe there’s a better way for you and I to spend the rest of our time
Together in this life

I have a vision that every person in the world has food enough to eat
Clean water to drink, a home and a loving hand to hold
I have a vision of a world where it’s safe to be a boy or girl
Innocence protected because our souls been resurrected
Innocence protected because our souls been resurrected
I believe in God as the Father and the Mother
The only law you need s to love one another
Work a lot less, laugh a lot more cause we find it takes little when your heart is full

I know this much is true- we came into this world believing there’s nothing we can’t do.
It doesn’t have to be so hard. If we love with our minds and think with our hearts
It’s a start I believe

I see people of faith who know that God has many names
And they honor every inch of Earth-like it’s a Sacred place
