1) Closer To You – This song was inspired by my husband, who fell in love with me at first sight and kept that flame alive until I finally came around. Musically it seems straightforward at first until the change-up in the rhythm and harmonies hit you in the chorus. I put this first on the album because I thought it was a bold introduction to my singing, songwriting, and music style.
