Walking In The Wilderness
Walkin’ In The Wilderness
It was all my doin’, when I met my ruin
That pot of gold was good as in my hands
Business boomin’, like a rag top zoomin’
Down a rainbow road
But here I am again
Walkin’ in the wilderness
Thought I’d arrived
But this aint the Promised Land
I guess I haven’t learned it yet
Maybe one more time around (around this mountain)
Walkin’ in the wilderness
Gotta do less talkin’ and a lot more listenin’
Take a back row seat instead of center stage
If I’d let my pride go and learn how to follow
Take the narrow road
So I wont be back this way
Walkin’ in the wilderness
Thought I’d arrived
But this aint the Promised Land
I guess I haven’t learned it yet
Maybe one more time around (back around this mountain)
Walkin’ in the wilderness
