Wagoner's Lad

The melodies and lyrics of traditional songs have long been traded, adapted, and reshaped by musicians on both sides of the Atlantic. My fellow West Virginian Kathy Mattea represents the female role in the prototypical American frontier ballad Wagoner’s Lad.
