Biography

Dove award nominee songwriter Tim Lovell started writing in 1989. He has written over 250 songs. Tim released 2 songs nationally in 2007. His song “Little Things” went to number 25 in the Nashville Powercharts and his Easter release “Who Gonna Roll Away The Stone went to number 88 in Christian Country.
I give all the credit to the Lord Tim says. In fact for every song I’ve written. I consider them a gift from God and give him all the praise and glory.
As a writer Tim currently has had 36 songs that have been
recorded and sung by various Gospel groups and artists around the country. Tim has won 9 songwriting awards from the Tennessee Country Music Association, 5 from NACMAI and 2 from the Oklahoma Songwriter’s Association as well as winning in the Gospel category in the Great American Song Contest. Tim won Song of the year for the song “Little Things”, which was recorded by the Young Harmony and nominated for a dove award in the album of the year category. His song "Shadow of the cross" was performed at the World Series Of Independent Artist in 2003. He wrote and performed the song "In Reality" for the United Way Kick-off in the Tri-Cities in 2001.
Tim says I have spent a good number of years writing and composing songs and the Lord has impressed me to start using the talent he has given me to minister to the world. I’m open to whatever doors the Lord opens to me, as long as the message is getting out. If it is me or someone else using the songs the Lord has given me.
