I found respite in a grey hound ride

And romance by the highway side

And a reason in the morning light

To chase down another day



I sailed off with the rising tide

No ocean ever seemed too wide

Lord knows you never count the miles

When you just wanna get away



Forever traveling on

To a place that holds no pain or sorrow

Sing a rambling song

To the land of tomorrow



Where the weather and the wind is fair

And hope is precious like a breath of air

I know I’ll find it when I’m getting there

And I’ll rest there in the shade



Beautiful beyond compare

Light shines down without a glare
