Something About A Sunset
Something about a sunset that reaches my soul
The older I get, the less that I know
Sometimes I can’t make much sense of it all
As another sun rises and another sun falls

Some I hold on to, some I’d like to forget
Some make me think of the ones still ahead
And every promise and every regret
They’re just blues and reds in the sunset

I try not to dwell on my old mistakes
I take a deep breath at the end of the day
I remember your face, a kiss back in time
The more I remember, the more that I find

Some I hold on to, some I’d like to forget
Some make me think of the ones still ahead
And every promise and every regret
Are just blues and reds in the sunset
