One Mistake After the Other

You can’t fix all the broken things in life
you can't sit around all night crying that you’ve been hurt
Well I love to live and learn, but I always make things worse
Cause nothings fair in all the universe

It’s just one mistake after the other, make a wish then try harder
Some people don’t even bother and that is why they’re sad

Well I try not to judge, steal or lie.
But that don’t mean things are gonna go right
And I’m not one to give you all some free advice
But you gotta keep moving and leave it all behind

I’ve fallen down so many times I wonder which way is up
And just like everybody else I think I had enough
and I don’t need to tell you things you already know
But some people are really really slow to know that
