Unprecedented times calls for an unprecedented action! When you’re a songwriter, it’s no different. Roger “Hurricane” Wilson has usually written songs by drawing inspiration from personal experiences, or just whatever may be happening around him at the time. It could be driving down the road, “I’m Coming Home”, or “Food, Phone, Gas, and Lodging”, or why he took the path he did in, “I Did What I Wanted To”. But given the infamous occurrences of what has so far been 2020, you’d think there’s nothing good or positive to write a song about. So what did Roger do? He did just that! Almost like a dare! “Thinking Positive” is a kick in the pants attitude adjustment with some real truth! Upbeat, honest, and positive, all while presenting the sad state of our current affairs but offering a better idea - an alternative to falling to division!

“Thinking positive for the negativity to end – got to stop judging folks just by the color of their skin. United we’ll stand! Divided, we never will win.”
